Working in the Theatre: Phantom Returns

The longest-running show on Broadway, The Phantom of the Opera, returned to their home at the Majestic Theatre on October 22, 2021. But it wasn’t always clear when or how it would come back.

With new additions to the libretto, full cast rehearsals, and the tenacity of both veterans and debuts, this iconic show has entered the new world of Broadway; one filled with hope of sharing its voice with its Phans and the next generation of theatre lovers.

Watch as Production Supervisor Seth Sklar-Heyn, Music Director/Music Supervisor David Caddick, along with the reopening night cast—Ben Crawford (The Phantom), Meghan Picerno (Christine Daaé), and Emilie Kouatchou (Christine Daaé)—share the story of the point of their return.
