Philip M. Getter
Philip M. Getter- upon graduation from Cornell University became Assistant to the Director of the US Atomic Energy Commission. He has for many years produced and also invested in theatre, film and television. His productions have earned Pulitzer Prize, Grammy and Tony Awards. His Broadway shows are distinguished as being the first productions by their creators. He has been a board member of companies in film production,distribution, exhibition and animation as well as the music industry.In addition to his entertainment industry experience he had more than thirty years as a leader in Wall Street investment banking. Mr. Getter was for ten years the CEO/President of Generics Corporation of America, one of the largest generic pharmaceutical companies in USA. As CEO/President and Chairman, he led the reorganization of Wolins Pharmacal, a direct to the industry distributor. He is a founder of both KIDSRx and SportsRx . Additionally he was Chairman of Inksure Technologies a maker of security inks for government and industrial security. He is Chairman of the audit committee of ICTS International a leading international security provider to the transportation industry as well as providing high-technology customer verification technologies. Mr. Getter was Chairman of EVCI Career Colleges and TCI College of Technology [the RCA Institute founded by G.Marconi]. In addition to being Executive Vice Chair of the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music he has been involved in a number of not-for-profits including St. Lukes Orchestra, Lehman College PAF and several theatre companies.
