The American Theatre Wing launches applications for its 9th year of Training Scholarships – established for 6-11th grade students from populations historically underrepresented in the theatre industry. Public school students who want to receive further training on ANY aspect of theatre – from stage management to arts administration, design to performance, and more – can apply for funding to attend the training program of their dreams.

The Wing is dedicated to uplifting students through every step of their journey as theatre-makers. A Training Scholarship can cover the cost of tuition, room and board, and admin fees of a theatre-based summer camp/study or after school training program that students have separately applied to.
