Teresa (Terry) Nardozzi
Terry Nardozzi is the President and CEO of MANM Productions; an investment and production company specializing in theater, film, and TV. The mission statement of MANM is to bring new works to life and to give new talent an opportunity to showcase their work. She has just completed production of the film Relish, written and directed by Justin Ward. Relish is the story of five outcasts who escape a private treatment program, go on a life-changing road trip, and discover they have a lot more in common than they ever imagined. The film stars a trans teenager and focuses on some of the current issues facing our youth. Relish is the recipient of 20 awards including, Best Feature at the Madrid International Film Festival, Best Feature at the Burbank Film Festival, Best Producer at Los Angeles Film Awards and Film of the Year at Los Angeles Film Awards. Her next film project will be serving as Executive Producer on the film King Lear, starring Al Pacino.
Her current theater involvement includes the Broadway production of Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations, which just received 12 Tony Award nominations in 2019, and the Off-Broadway premiere of The Secret Life of Bees, which has received numerous Drama Desk, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominations in 2020. In the West End, Terry is involved in the development production of The Prince of Egypt, a DreamWorks production with music by Stephen Schwartz. Past theater involvement includes: Once on This Island, The 2018 Tony Award winner for Best Musical Revival, directed by Michael Arden; and Farinelli and the King, starring Mark Rylance, (also a Tony nominee); as well as the Australian tour of Beautiful, The Carole King Musical; Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812, starring Josh Groban, which received 12 Tony Award nominations in the 2017 season, including Best Musical. The Great Comet was also the recipient of 4 Drama Desk Awards and 2 Outer Critics Circle Awards as well as many other recognitions, including the Equity Award for Diversity in Theater. This show also provided over 30 performers with their Broadway debut.
Other past involvement includes the acclaimed production of Deaf West Theatre’s Spring Awakening (Revival), which received 4 Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Musical and On the Town, which received 3 Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Musical. Both productions also appeared on Broadway and provided numerous performers with their Broadway debut. Prior to opening her own production company, Terry was in the non-profit world. As a Board member of The Mustard Seed of Central Florida, she assisted families devastated by major disasters to help rebuild their lives. She currently serves as member of the Board of Trustees for the Westport Country Playhouse, as well as a member of their Executive Committee and as past co-chair of the playhouse’s Annual Gala. Always having one foot in the Arts, Terry has served on many boards and committees supporting the advancement of arts in the community and in education.
