Melissa Bird

Melissa Bird currently lives in New York City and is a certified public accountant with over seventeen years of accounting and auditing experience. She has spent her entire career working for Ernst & Young LLP, providing services to companies ranging in size from middle market to Fortune 100. While Melissa has served clients in various industries, she has extensive experience in the media & entertainment and life sciences industries. Melissa also spent three years in Ernst & Young’s National Accounting office where she was a subject matter resource working with the firm’s leadership team.

Prior to moving to New York in 2013, Melissa lived in her home state of Texas. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Accounting. She is active in the New York Junior League, a member of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT), and also leads various diversity and inclusiveness initiatives within Ernst & Young.
