The American Theatre Wing is the national not-for-profit service organization dedicated to celebrating excellence and supporting education in the theatre. We are committed to maintaining the privacy of the members of American Theatre Wing email list.
INFORMATION WE GATHER
The American Theatre Wing gathers some personal and general consumer information when users join the American Theatre Wing email list. In order to monitor traffic and to protect the security of our database, AmericanTheatreWing.org automatically records the IP addresses of all site visitors. This information cannot be used for personal identification. (Our site does not automatically collect e-mail address information, nor does it set cookies.) The registration form requires members to provide us with contact information (e.g., name and e-mail address, postal code and country) and other information related to their interests. We track this information so we can send newsletters and other special offers that correspond to members’ interests; both e-mail and regular mail may be sent to email list members. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such telephone calls, please let us know by sending us e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. You must be age 13 or older to sign-up for the American Theatre Wing email list.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our website periodically.
With respect to security, we have appropriate security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
Currently we do not make our email list available to outside organizations.
