Peter Schneider

Peter Schneider, (Producer / Director), has enjoyed a multifaceted movie and theatrical career.  Broadway producing credits include the new musical Water for Elephants, The Lion King (Tony Award), and Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida. Directing credits include Sister Act, The Musical, (Pasadena and West End), The Breakup Note Book, and My Life with Men… and other animals.  He produced the award-winning documentary Waking Sleeping Beauty. As President of Animation and Chairman of the Studio for the Walt Disney Company, he was responsible for developing over fifty movies including The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, (Golden Globe Award Winner), The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Remember the Titans, and Princess Diaries. He was the Associate Director of the 1984 LA Olympic Arts Festival and is a world champion bridge player, having won the Transnational Open Teams in Estoril, Portugal, and has an honorary doctorate from Purdue University.
