Theatre Intern Network Meeting: May 7th Wrap-Up

Theatre Intern Network members got a special treat at the last TIN meeting: a behind the scenes discussion on “How The Tony Awards Work” from the Wing, The Broadway League, and Tony Awards Productions.

Heather Hitchens (ED of the Wing), Charlotte St. Martin (ED of the Broadway League), and Carl Levin (Tony Awards Business and Operations Manager) talked about all the excitement that comes with awards season and gave those in attendance the inside scoop on dress rehearsal, the telecast, the nomination process, as well as a primer on every administrative committees function in helping make the Tony Awards come to life.

Many of the TINers said it was the best meeting ever.  They were probably right.
