Sara Cooper’s new play Things I Left On Long Island will premiere on August 9th as part of the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival. Cooper is a 2014 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient along with Zach Redler and Shaina Taub.

Things I Left on Long Island is billed as, “When 28-year-old Marny finds a lump in her breast, she uses it as an excuse to pretend she isn’t flunking out of adulthood and moves home to Long Island to live with her mother. As she vies with her family for the audience’s attention, Marny must either succumb to the whims of a family in crisis or take back her life—and her play.”

The play’s cast includes Lindsay Goranson, Susanna Hari, Jennifer Mello, Michael S. Rehse and Elysia Segal.

The play is produced by Roadie Soadie Productions and runs August 9th through 24th. Tickets and more information can be found at FringeNYC.org.
