Mark your calendars for Broadway’s Night of Nights! The American Theatre Wing’s 73rd Annual Tony Awards® will be broadcast on Sunday, June 9, 2019 on CBS, live from Radio City Music Hall. The Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.

The Telecast – Sunday, June 9

The 2019 Tony Awards ceremony will air on the CBS television network, live on Sunday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m. ET/7:00 p.m. CT (delayed 8:00 p.m. PT).  The star-studded event will take place at New York City’s legendary Radio City Music Hall.

The Tony Awards, which honors theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway, has been broadcast on CBS every year since 1978.  The show-stopping awards ceremony will include musical performances and celebrity presenters.

The multiple Emmy Award-winning Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss of White Cherry Entertainment will return as executive producers of the telecast. Weiss will also serve as director.

Other Key Dates

The official eligibility cut-off date will be Thursday, April 25, 2019, for all Broadway productions opening in the 2018-2019 season. Productions that meet all other eligibility requirements and open on or before the eligibility date may be considered eligible for 2019 Tony Award nominations.

The Nominations for the 2019 Tony Awards will be announced on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
