The 2014 Jonathan Larson Grants event kicked off with a performance of Jonathan’s “See Her Smile” from tick, tick … BOOM, performed by Colin Hanlon. The subtle beauty of Jonathan’s music wasn’t lost on the audience. The emotional event moved from an outpouring of gratitude for Jonathan’s legacy (with both Jonathan’s father and sister in attendance) to a celebration of, as Wing Chairman William Ivey Long remarked, “the next.”
