Robert Jones
ROBERT JONES (Set and Costume Design). His extensive credits in London include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, April in Paris, The Killing of Sister George, Jolson (also Toronto, USA tour and Australia), The Goodbye Girl, When We Are Married, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Herbal Bed (all West End). Also Black Comedy, Real Inspector Hound, Divas (Donmar). Numerous productions for Hampstead Theatre and the Bush Theatre. For the Royal Shakespeare Company: Pentecost, The Herbal Bed, Henry VIII (also at the Brooklyn Academy and Kennedy Center), Othello, Jubilee, The Winter's Tale, Romeo and Juliet, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Merchant of Venice. For the Royal National Theatre: Look Back in Anger, Noises Off, The Playboy of the Western World. Opera credits include Elixir of Love (English National Opera), Der Rosenkavelier (Germany), Manon Lescaut (Gothenburg). Mr. Jones' work on Henry VIII and The Winter's Tale earned him Olivier Award nominations in 1998 and 2000.
