Philip M. Getter
PHILIP M. GETTER s the Managing Member of GEMPH Development. LLC, an advisory firm, and President and CEO of KIDSRx International, a provider of children's natural health care products. Upon graduation from Cornell University he served as Assistant to the Director of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. Mr. Getter has more than 35 years of investment banking experience, most recently as the head of Investment Banking and member of the Board of Prime Charter, Ltd. and formerly as a partner of Shearson, Hammill and Senior Partner of Devon Securities. He was CEO and Chairman of the Board of Generics Corporation of America, one of the largest generic drug companies in the United States and as CEO and President he led the reorganization of Wolins Pharmacal , a distributor to the medical industry. He was also Chairman of InkSure Technologies a manufacturer of secure inks for government and industrial uses. Additionally, Mr. Getter is Chairman of the audit committee of ICTS International, a company that provides airport security around the world, and is Chairman of the Board of TCI College of Technology. Mr. Getter has been on the Boards of public companies in film distribution, exhibition, production and animation as well as in the music industry. He has served on a number of not for profits including the St. Luke's Orchestra and Lehman Center for the Arts. He is Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kurt Weill Foundation for Music a member of the American Theatre Wing Advisory Board and its Finance and Membership Committees as well as the TONY Awards Administration and Rules committees. Mr. Getter has produced for Broadway, film and television. Mr. Getter's theatre productions are of 'early works' of various artists such as David Copperfield's The Magic Man; Michael Cristofer's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning The Shadow Box; Tommy Tune's A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine; Michael Jacob's Cheaters; the original production of Grease; Albert Innuarato's Gemini with The PAF Playhouse; Nicholas Kazan's Blood Moon with The Production Company; and Harry Chapin's Cotton Patch Gospel.
