MICHAEL McKEAN Broadway: Superior Donuts, The Homecoming (2008 Drama Desk, Ensemble), The Pajama Game, Hairspray, Accomplice (Theatre World Award). Off-Broadway: Our Town, Woody Allen's A Second Hand Memory. McKean has also appeared as a regular on Laverne & Shirley, Saturday Night Live, Dream On, Sessions, Tracy Takes On and Martin Short's Primetime Glick. Among his many TV guest appearances: Friends, Murphy Brown, The Simpsons, The X-Files, Law & Order, Smallville, Alias, Boston Legal, The Unit, etc. Film: Steven Spielberg's 1941; Used Cars; Young Doctors In Love; This Is Spinal Tap (on which McKean shared screenwriting and composing credits); Clue; Light of Day; Coneheads; The Brady Bunch Movie; Jack; True Crime, Whatever Works; and many others including Christopher Guest's The Big Picture (also co-wrote), Best In Show, For Your Consideration and A Mighty Wind. Mr. McKean recently toured 30 U.S. cities with Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer (Unwigged & Unplugged) and appeared with Spinal Tap at the 2009 Glastonbury Festival and Wembley Arena in support of the recently released Tap recording, Back From the Dead. Co-wrote the Grammy-winning theme to A Mighty Wind (with Christopher Guest and Eugene Levy) and the Oscar-nominated A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow, with his wife Annette O'Toole.
