MICHAEL LUPU Senior Dramaturg at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, dramaturg for numerous plays including the Guthrie's productions, Two Gentlemen of Verona and Happy Days. In 2006 he received the Lessing Award for lifetime achievement in dramaturgy from the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. Lupu is the author of Toward a Dramaturgical Sensibility: Landscape and Journey (with Geoffrey S Proehl, D D Kugler, and Mark Lamos, 2008) and he was a consulting editor for Dramaturgy in American Theater: A Sourcebook (1997).
