MARK SCHLEGEL was born and raised in the Midwest and graduated from DePauw University with a Bachelor's Degree in communications. With the exception of a two-year stint in banking, Mark has been in the "talent agent" business for twenty-five years. He has worked for Robert Lantz and Associates, Ambrosio/Mortimer, J. Michael Bloom & Associates, Agency for the Performing Arts and is presently a partner at Cornerstone Talent. Cornerstone is a New York-based agency representing 75 clients including Jayne Atkinson (24, Syriana), Sara Ramirez (2005 Tony Winner for Spamalot, Grey's Anatomy), Jefferson Mays (2004 Tony Winner for I Am My Own Wife), Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me, The Devil Wears Prada), Dominic Chianese (Sopranos), La Chanze (Tony nominee for The Color Purple on Broadway), Lois Smith (2006 Obie, Drama Desk, Lortel and Outer Critic's Circle winner for The Trip To Bountiful) and Michael Stuhlbarg (the title role in the Public Theatre's Hamlet this summer) to name a few.
