Lou Jacobi
LOU JACOBI Born Louis Harold Jacobovitch, December 28, 1913 in Toronto, Canada. Made his stage debut in 1924 in The Rabbi and the Priest. Broadway: 10 plays including The Diary of Anne Frank (debut, 1955), Norman, Is That You? (1970), Paddy Chayefsky's Tenth Man (1959), Woody Allen's Don't Drink the Water (1966), Neil Simon's Come Blow Your Horn (1961), and Cheaters (1978). Films: 24 films including Is Your Honeymoon Really Necessary? (1953), The Diary of Anne Frank, Irma la Douce (1963), My Favorite Year (1982), Arthur (1981), Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex (1972), Avalon (1990), and I.Q. (1994). TV: Ivan The Terrible (CBS, 1976), The Dean Martin Show, many guest appearances including Playhouse 90, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., and That Girl. Died October 23, 2009, at the age of 95.
