Kate Fodor
KATE FODOR is a recipient of the Kennedy Center's Roger L. Stevens Award, the National Theater Conference's Barrie Stavis Award, a Joseph Jefferson Citation, an After Dark Award, and a finalist position for the international Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Her play 100 Saints You Should Know had a sold-out run Off-Broadway at Playwrights Horizons and is published by Dramatists Play Service. Kate's play Hannah and Martin had an Off-Broadway production featuring David Strathairn in 2004 and subsequent productions in cities around the U.S. and abroad. Hannah and Martin has been published by Dramatists Play Service and was included in the anthology The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize: Six Important New Plays by Women from the 25th Anniversary Year. Kate's work has been developed at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Hartford Stage, and Chautauqua Theater Company. She is currently working on commissions from the Mark Taper Forum and Killer Films. She is also a lecturer in playwriting at the University of Pennsylvania.
