For 28 years, JON WILNER was a leader in theatrical advertising on Broadway. As partner in the firm LeDonne and Wilner, he created the advertising campaigns for such Broadway shows as La Cage Aux Folles, Amadeus, On Golden Pond, Evita, Annie, Sophisticated Ladies, Woman of the Year, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Show Boat, Sweet Charity, Dancing at Lughnasa, Prelude to a Kiss and The Gin Game, to name just a few. Jon produced An Evening with Jerry Herman on Broadway, Groucho in New York and London, and received the 1994 London Evening Standard Award for Best Musical for his production of Mack and Mabel in London. In 2006, he returned to London, producing the John Doyle revival of Mack and Mabel. Jon also produced the 2003 all-star concert of Mack and Mabel at Avery Fisher Hall, raising over $530,000 for the Gay Men's Health Crisis. From 2002 to 2005,Jon served on the Tony Award nominating committee. His expertise in marketing is now present in his new real estate company, Island Properties of the Pines, Inc. on Fire Island. He is a member of the board of directors of the Fire Island Pines Property Owners Association and is President of Congregation B'nai Olam. He is also VIP of the Pines Conservation Society.
