Janet Watson
JANET WATSON (Choreographer) choreographed the original Tony-Award winning production of Big River on Broadway and later recreated her work for the national tour and the Japanese production. Off-Broadway she choreographed the acclaimed revivals of Pacific Overtures, I Do! I Do!, The Show Goes On (a portfolio of theatre songs by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt),SOUTH PACIFIC at the New York City Opera, as well as several productions for the York Theatre Company. Regionally she has worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Goodspeed Opera House, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Actor's Theatre of Louisville and the Alliance in Atlanta. Ms. Watson has staged several companies of The Fantasticks for Japanese audiences as well as the current New York city revival.
