HEATHER HEADLEY has received the Tony, Drama Desk, The Drama League, and Chicago's Joseph Jefferson awards for her performance in Aida. Other credits include, Broadway: The Lion King (Nala). Toronto: Ragtime. City Center: Do, Re, Mi (Tilda Mullen). Regional: Dreamgirls and The World Goes Round (Marriott Lincolnshire Theater). Recordings: Aida, the Elton John All-Star Album, Aida (Original Broadway Cast Recording), The Lion King II - Simba's Pride (Soundtrack), From the Soul of a Man (with Kenny Lattimore), The Lion King (Original Broadway Cast Recording - Grammy Award), Do, Re, Mi (1999 New York Cast Recording), and Ragtime (Toronto Cast Recording). Television appearances: The Late Show with David Letterman, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The View, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and many others. Heather, a former Northwestern student, has released two albums with RCA Records.
