Together, as partners in Waxman Williams Entertainment, Anita Waxman and Elizabeth Williams have garnered seventy-one Tony nominations and sixteen Tony Awards, more than any female producing team in history. Ms. Williams and Ms. Waxman served as executive producers of an unscripted reality series entitled The Scholar, which aired on ABC-TV in spring, 2005, working with partners Jaye Pace, Shannon Meairs, Martin/Stein Productions (Steve Martin and Joan Stein), and Carsey Werner. Through her company Four Corners Productions, Ms. Williams' productions include Crazy for You, Into the Woods, The Secret Garden, and Moon Over Buffalo. From 1984-1989, Ms. Williams served as vice president of Mutual Benefit Productions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mutual Benefit Financial Service Company, and, subsequently, Fifth Avenue Productions. Ms. Williams has served on the board of directors of the 52nd Street Project and is a past chair of the board of directors of the New York Theatre Workshop.
