DAVID CAPARELLIOTIS recently opened his own casting office, MelCap Casting, with business partner Mele Nagler to cast for theatre, film and television. He continues his 13-year relationship with Manhattan Theatre Club by casting three-to-four shows for them a year, in addition to artistic consulting. Broadway credits include: Doubt, Rabbit Hole, Translations, Sight Unseen, The Violet Hour, Proof, The Tale Of The Allergist's Wife, plus Hitchcock Blonde and Reckless with Mary Louise Parker on the West End. Notable Off-Broadway credits include tick, tick...BOOM!, Altar Boyz,, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Modern Orthodox directed by James Lapine, Wonder of the World with Sarah Jessica Parker and The Santaland Diaries at Philadelphia's City Theatre. He has worked on numerous plays including works by Tony Kushner, Sam Shephard, Jon Robin Baitz, David Lindsay-Abaire, John Patrick Shanley, Terrence McNally and A. R. Gurney. David is an adjunct professor at Syracuse University and a member of the Casting Society of America.
