Carin Ford
CARIN FORD is currently the head sound engineer for the hit Broadway revival of La Cage aux Folles starring Kelsey Grammer and Douglas Hodge. As a much sought after theatre veteran, she has worked on numerous Broadway shows such as Young Frankenstein, The Color Purple, Caroline or Change; Thoroughly Modern Millie; Mamma Mia; Seussical; Ragtime and the recent revival of Finian's Rainbow. Ms. Ford has also worked on several national and international tours such as Mamma Mia; Beauty and the Beast; Les Miserables; City of Angeles and her first show, the multi-faceted, The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, starring Lily Tomlin. In addition to theatrical work, Ms. Ford has mixed shows for BET (Black Entertainment Television) and has done postproduction sound effects editing for several independent films. In her spare time, Carin enjoys international travel, enjoying the New York art scene and playing with her dog, Brandie.
