Aaron Meier
AARON MEIER received his BS in Political Science in 1999 from Texas A&M University where he served as Editor-In-Chief of the award-winning daily newspaper The Battalion. In March 2001, while horseback riding on a ranch in Medina, Texas, Meier met Chris Boneau (partner at Boneau/Bryan-Brown). That fall, he joined Boneau/Bryan-Brown where he now serves as a senior account executive. This season, new shows he represents include Mauritius; The Seafarer; Come Back, Little Sheba; Top Girls; The Receptionist; The Starry Messenger; Pumpgirl; and The Four of Us. Notable long-running productions include: Mary Poppins, The Lion King (Tony Award Best Musical), Monty Python's Spamalot (Tony Award Best Musical), Doubt (Pulitzer, Tony Award Best Play), Disney's Aida, Gypsy starring Bernadette Peters, and the Off-Broadway hit musical Bare: A Pop Opera. Aaron is the senior publicist for Manhattan Theatre Club, one of the country's leading non-profit theatre companies. In 2003, he and colleague Jim Byk led press efforts surrounding the inauguration of the Biltmore Theatre, MTC's permanent home on Broadway. Notable MTC productions represented include: Blackbird, LoveMusik (directed by Hal Prince), Shining City, Rabbit Hole (Pulitzer), Sight Unseen, Reckless, Yellowman, and Kimberly Akimbo. Aaron is the press agent for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and their annual events such as Gypsy of The Year, The Easter Bonnet Competition, Broadway Bares, and The Broadway Flea Market. Aaron became a member of ATPAM in 2004.
