Judith Ann Abrams is the founder/producer of the famed family musical theater company, The Broadway Pixie Judy Troupe, dubbed by Liz Smith as,”that 30 year show-biz-for-kids-phenomenon.” Her Troupe played every theater in the U.S., London and The WHite House performing for the children of 2 Presidents. Discovered by composer Richard Rodgers, Judy produced 3 of her musicals for The Rodgers & Hammerstein Music Library with the Troupe and The London Symphony Orchestra. Her Pixie Judy Foundation, with a Board that includes, and has included, Helen Hayes, Cy Coleman, LeRoy Neiman, Hal Prince, Liz McCann, Elaine Stritch, Liza Minnelli & Eartha Kitt & Chita Rivera, continues her acclaimed work in presenting live theater to the children of the inner cities. For this work, Judy has received the coveted Jefferson Award and three Mayoral Certificates of Appreciation. She is 3rd generation of her family to go into “Show Biz!”
